Punctuation’s help us when we read. Whether it’s to show us when a character is excited, when they are confused, or when they are talking. Punctuation’s also tell us when to pause and take a breath as we read.
Without punctuation’s a text would have no meaning and the authors purpose could be misunderstood!
Punctuation’s can even save a person’s life! Here is an example…
“Let’s eat dad!” or “Let’s eat, dad!”
